This session will provide InfoSec professionals with essentials of privacy programs and their critical role in this digital age. I will explore key concepts such as data privacy regulation regimes (CCPA (as amended by CPRA), NJDPL, GDPR, etc.), privacy impact assessments, and the integration of privacy into existing frameworks or programs. Attendees will learn best practices for developing and implementing effective policies, conducting impact assessments, and fostering a culture of privacy within their organizations. The objective is to equip InfoSec professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand, develop, and implement effective privacy programs within their organizations, even if it’s just small key bits of information.
