Brian Katula

Brian is the Director of Operational Resilience at the Global Resilience Federation (GRF), where he leads initiatives to strengthen organizational and cross-sector resilience. A key architect of GRF’s Operational Resilience Framework (ORF), he designs and facilitates large-scale tabletop exercises that help organizations test and refine crisis response strategies. He specializes in operational resilience strategy, cross-sector collaboration, and exercise development, with a focus on complex threats like cyber failures, telecom disruptions, and systemic risk events. Brian holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland. He is passionate about advancing resilience across entire ecosystems.
