Garrett Boag

Garrett is a Junior at Monmouth University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Cybersecurity. He is proficient in Python, Java, and embedded C, with additional experience in HTML, PHP, SQL, and JavaScript, and is actively developing his skills across embedded systems, backend development, and cybersecurity. On campus, Garrett balances his academic pursuits as a Residential Assistant while competing as a member of the Monmouth University Division I Track and Field team, where he is training as a decathlete — a pursuit that reflects the same discipline and drive he brings to his technical growth. Eager to learn and quick to take on new challenges, Garrett brings a strong foundation, a growth mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for building his expertise at the intersection of software engineering and security.
