Gio is a junior at Kean University pursuing a degree in Information Technology after transferring from a background in visual and fine arts. This unique academic path reflects his ability to blend creativity with technical problem-solving. He has developed foundational skills in Python, Java, and SQL, and has hands-on experience working with Raspberry Pi systems, strengthening his interest in both practical computing and emerging technologies. On campus, Gio is actively involved in organizations such as the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS), and gaining real-world experience as an intern at the Kean Center for Cybersecurity, further expanding his knowledge in security practices and IT infrastructure through working with computer hardware. Known for being a collaborative and dependable team player, Gio enjoys working in group environments where he can support others and contribute to shared goals.
