Michael Melore

Michael is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a recognized cybersecurity evangelist at IBM. He is the founder and moderator of SECRT, a network of 28 regional CISO and Security Leader Round Table groups across the U.S., representing over 2,000 security executive members.An author and frequent national speaker and moderator, Michael serves on the FBI InfraGard and NASCIO committees. He is widely regarded as a subject matter expert in security and threat intelligence, identity access governance, and authorization. His past consulting roles include serving as lead architect for several of the world’s largest authentication and authorization infrastructures, including two with over one billion users. Michael is a strong advocate for continuous cybersecurity education, regularly leading threat simulation exercises, training programs, and awareness initiatives to strengthen organizational resilience.
