Mike Itkis

Mike currently works as a CMMC Program Manager and a Lead CCA for a Defense Industrial Base organization. He has over 30 years of experience in IT, including 10 years in cybersecurity.

Mike started his career in IT at a number of financial industry organizations. He then transitioned into the military, where he was a Civil Affairs specialist, a Signal Officer, and a Cyber Warfare Officer. Following military service, he worked as a Cyber Exercise Assessor at the FAA, before moving into the CMMC space.

Mike has an Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University, an MBA from Baruch, and a master's degree in information security from WGU. He also has numerous professional certifications including CISSP, CISA, GPEN, and PMP.
