Raphael Adeyemo

Raphael is a technology risk and cybersecurity leader focused on helping organizations make clear, confident decisions in complex environments.

As Senior Manager of Technology and Cyber Risk at Manulife, he leads second-line oversight across cyber, data, and AI — translating complex risk signals into insight that drives decision-making at the highest levels through regulatory assurance, enterprise risk analytics, and executive reporting.

He is the host of Pathfinder Conversations, a podcast exploring real career journeys and leadership perspectives across technology, cybersecurity, and risk — built to help professionals move beyond theory and navigate their careers with intention.

As former President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the ISC2 Toronto Chapter, Raphael led a full organizational turnaround — establishing governance, scaling membership by ~300%, and building a sustainable operating and revenue model that strengthened its national footprint.

A Fellow of the Cañizares Center for Emerging Markets at Cornell University, he studies how emerging economies navigate structural constraints, scale innovation, and build resilience through models that often leapfrog traditional systems.

He is an Adjunct Professor at Conestoga College, a Program Advisory Council member at Northeastern University (Toronto), and a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council.

Raphael holds a dual MBA from Cornell University and Queen's University, a Certificate in Digital Leadership from Cornell, and certifications including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SSCP, and ITIL 4 Foundation.
