Yagmur Sahin

Yagmur is a Head & VP of Engineering with 16 years of experience building, scaling, and operating software products and platform organizations. She leads multi-location engineering teams across strategy, architecture, delivery, hiring, mentorship, and budget ownership — while remaining deeply hands-on across backend and frontend development, containerization, CI/CD, observability, and production reliability.

Known as a player-coach leader, Yagmur stays close to the code, reviews critical work, unblocks teams directly, and drives fast, dependable execution from research through production. She has led end-to-end engineering for AI and SaaS platforms, overseeing roadmap execution, architecture decisions, platform hardening, and reliable release practices.

Yagmur has secured funding for five major R&D initiatives, leading each from proposal and prototyping through to production launch. She is an inventor on five U.S. patents and a published IEEE author, with an M.S. in Computer Engineering — with thesis work in deep learning — and prior M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mathematics.
